BASIC NEWBORN SESSIONS

Newborn sessions take place in your home typically during the first two weeks of life (though may take place later when needed). My sessions are relaxed with no special preparation needed on your part. There is no rush, and we let baby lead with feeding breaks as needed.

My fee of $575 includes a 1-2 hour session in your home and a digital gallery of approximately 60 retouched images. A 50% deposit is required to save a spot in your due month.

“FRESH 48”

I’m happy to offer the popular “Fresh 48” sessions that take place shortly after birth in the hospital, birth center or at home (within 48 hours). These are brief sessions that aim to capture the earliest moments with you and your newborn with quick turnaround of images for sharing with family and friends.

My fee of $325 includes a 45-60 minute photo session and a digital gallery of 35 or more retouched images delivered within a day or two. (I will try to send a few the same day if I don’t have someone in labor). A 50% deposit is required to save a spot in your due month.

SIBLING MEETS BABY

A twist on the “Fresh 48” that I’m thrilled to offer are first meetings with siblings. Capturing the reactions of older children when they meet the new baby is something I love. Since siblings are usually not able to visit in the hospital in the COVID era, I can arrange to come to your home, if logistically feasible, right when you arrive home or when your other children will first be introduced to the baby. You can call me at any time (even in the middle of the night), if you want me to come to your home or birth center birth to capture these early moments.

My fee of $350 includes an approximately 60-minute photo session and a digital gallery of 35 or so retouched images. I charge an additional $50 to come after 10 pm or before 7 am. A 50% deposit is required to save a spot in your due month.

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

Family Sessions take place in an agreed upon outdoor location during late Spring, Summer and early Autumn. My families are often surprised by how much fun their sessions are. Feel free to reach out via the form on my contact page to book your date or ask questions.

My fee of $575 includes a 1-2 hour session on location and a digital gallery of approximately 60 retouched images. A 50% deposit is required to book your date.

BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY

As your birth photographer, I will meet with you in person (or via ZOOM if you prefer) prior to your labor to get to know you and your family, and learn about your birth team and your plans for your birth.

I generally accept only one full birth client in a month, so I can be sure to be available for your birth. You will call me when labor begins and we will discuss the best timing for my arrival. I will remain with you through approximately two hours postpartum depending on where you are giving birth.

My fee of $1650 includes our pre-birth meeting, on call and in the area beginning at 37 weeks, presence at your birth and early postpartum for up to 24 hours (I charge an additional fee for longer labors, though may come and go depending on the circumstances, so I only count the hours I’m present), a digital gallery of 75 or more retouched images (often over 100) and a keepsake album designed by me. A 35% deposit is required to save a spot for your due date.

For families where the full birth photography fee is not in their budget, I am offering a sort of “mini” birth session where you would call and inform me that you’re in labor, but I won’t come until you are close to the second stage of labor (pushing). Your team can be in touch with me about timing. I will aim to arrive just prior to the birth and will take photos of the birth and 1-2 hours postpartum. My fee of $850 includes a pre-birth virtual meeting, on call and in the area beginning at 37 weeks, presence at the birth and early postpartum for up to 6 hours (I charge an additional hourly fee beyond that), and a gallery of at least 50 retouched images (though likely more). A 50% deposit is required to save a spot for your due date.

Please contact me if you have any questions about fees. I do take a few pro bono clients each year and may consider sliding scale or bartering depending on your circumstances.

On occasion, I may combine doula services with my birth photography. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in this service.
